This is the first of two marketing webinars designed by on-the-ground marketer Ronnie Brown, from the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts, specifically for organizations with budgets under $400,000.
This webinars covers different aspect of word-of-mouth, including targeted messaging, finding communicators and e-word-of-mouth. In it, Ronnie makes the distinction between effective and ineffective communication. Effective communication, he proposes, must be true to who you are and must be adapted to the receiver. Ronnie also suggests that subscribers and single ticket buyers are seeking different kinds of answers (or experiences) and that the messaging for each should fit their need for attending.
This webinar was presented on Feburary 11, 2015. It was part of a series entitled “Tips for Small Budget Arts Organizations”, presented by Orchestras Canada, in cooperation with Choirs Ontario, Ontario Presents and Theatre Ontario, with generous funding from The Ontario Trillium Foundation and the Ontario Arts Council.
