Bass Trombone, Principal Position
One Year Temporary Position

National Auditions will be held on Tuesday, March 5th, 2019 at 10:00am at the Francis Winspear Centre for Music, 9720 102 Ave, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

This is a one-year temporary position. The start date will be Week 1 of the 2019/2020 Season.

Terms and conditions for the 2019-2020 Season for this position are:

Season: 41 Weeks (40 contiguous weeks September to June, plus 1 week Summer Festival late August/early September)
Remuneration:Minimum $68,690.55 for the full Season
Benefits: Group Life Insurance, Extended Health Care (e.g. massage, drug plan, chiropractor), Accidental Death & Dismemberment, Dental Plan. 11% MPFC (Musicians Pension Fund of Canada) contribution

The successful candidate will begin Week 1 of the 2019-2020 Season (September 2019)

All applicants must be members in good standing of a Local of the AFM/CFM.

All applicants must be able to legally apply for the position and work in Canada – i.e. a Canadian Citizen or a Canadian Permanent Resident.

The Audition Committee reserves the right to dismiss immediately any candidate not meeting the highest professional standard at these auditions.
