Rotterdam is a thriving city, both economically and culturally. A showpiece of modern architecture, the city having been rebuilt almost entirely after the bombings of the Second World War. A multicultural society, opened to the world, where everything is thought out from bridges to museums, from concert halls to art galleries, from open‐air shopping malls to creative buildings. We are arriving in Rotterdam for the opening of the Classical : NEXT conference and trade show which starts on Wednesday May 20th. A delegation of Canadian orchestra representatives under the direction of OC’s executive director Katherine Carleton as chef de mission, will be attending the fourth edition of Classical : Next in Rotterdam at the end of May.
