The Saskatoon Symphony has announced the results of recent auditions, both filling vacancies created by sabbatical leave. Bryan Allen will be the SSO’s Principal Percussion for 2014-15, replacing Mathieu Pouliot; and Jamie LeBlanc will serve as Third Trumpet, replacing Dean McNeill for the season.
The Board of Directors of the International des musiques sacrées de Québec has announced the appointment of Laurent Patenaude as its new Directeur général, succeeding Hélène Fortier. In this role, M. Patenaude will work closely with artistic director Daniel Taylor. He takes on this role after 17 years with Les Violons du Roy.
