Joint Fundraising Event for the Saskatoon Symphony and Saskatoon Opera

March 3, the Saskatoon Symphony and Saskatoon Opera are joining forces to co-host a gala that is billed as the “premier event of gala season”. A year in the making, the gala unites “the two most important classical performing arts organizations in the city,” says co-chair Mark Turner. “By combining forces, the Red and Black Affair is able to offer the ultimate fine art experience – the organizations did not set out to throw a gala, we set out to throw the best gala.”

The event will take place at the Delta Bessborough, and will feature Toronto-based international tenor Richard Margison, members of the Saskatoon Symphony Orchestra (led by SO maestro Tadeusz Biernacki), and an art auction – as well as food, wine and good times.
