World Premieres and a Tribute to Ann Southam for New Music Concerts

September 25, Toronto’s New Music Concerts kicks off its 41st anniversary season with a concert at the Glenn Gould Studio, led by co-founder Robert Aitken. The program includes a major work by the late Ann Southam (Quintet for Piano and Strings from 1986) along with three world premieres by Canadians Hope Lee, Alice Ping Yee Ho, and Andrew Staniland. The program also includes German composer Nicolas A. Huber’s Auf Flügein der Harfe for solo accordion.
