Learning and Networking

Our colleagues at CAPACOA (the national association for Canadian arts presenters) will be holding their national conference in Toronto from November 3-7 – and this year, they’re issuing a particular call for emerging and mid-career presenters, agents, managers and other arts professionals to take part in The Succession Plan (TSP), a program designed to strengthen core competencies, provide leadership development and equip participants with the tools and resources necessary to be active participants in the development of arts and culture in their community.

The TSP comprises two components embedded in the annual CAPACOA Conference:
1. One-on-one mentorship: Participants will work with two mentors from the national community throughout the weekend (2 hours daily)

2. Opportunities to network with peers in small and in larger groups to discuss the new realities of working in the arts and other relevant issues related to their work.
