Culture Days, a national campaign to make the public aware of the importance of the arts and culture in daily life, will be taking place in Ontario September 24-26. The event is intended to highlight Ontario’s vibrant culture – and encourage residents to explore new activities and celebrate the arts and culture in their communities.
Culture Days is now looking for amateur and professional artists and arts organizations to take part by offering free ‘behind the scenes’ tours, demonstrations or school visits, workshops, lectures, open rehearsals, or open studios. Already-scheduled participatory activities and events can also be included in the provincial event during Culture Days as long as they are free.
To learn more, you can subscribe to the Culture Days newsletter here; online event registration for Culture Days opens soon.
