The Calgary-based Honens International Piano Competition comes to a glorious conclusion tonight – November 6 – once the last of five finalists has performed his or her concerto with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Christoph Campestrini.  The finalists include Natacha Kudritskaya, Ukraine; Evgeny Starodubtsev, Russia; Georgy Tchaidze, Russia; Gilles Vonsattel, Switzerland; Kirill Zwegintsov, Ukraine.   For more information on the competition – and to hear excerpts from earlier rounds of competition (by clicking on the Honens 2.0 tab) – please visit the Honens website here.
