		<description>As Treasurer I can confirm that we have gone from a steady $15,000 annual grant to $0.00. Because of a low overhead and some funds from donations that we have on hand we will survive this next season.  One of our raison d&#039;etres is the support of young string players in the Victoria area hence our ability to attract some of our donations, but the Grant is also an important part of this too and losing it will simply reduce the amount of support we can provide to this important group of people. 

Even the Victoria Symphony has lost a large grant from this cut.
